Dr. Senter completed her undergraduate studies in psychology at Brown University. She attended medical school at Rutgers - New Jersey Medical School, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She subsequently completed her residency in psychiatry at Columbia University and the New York State Psychiatric Institute, where she served as a chief resident and worked with the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder research group. Dr. Senter has experience working as an attending psychiatrist in emergency room and outpatient community mental health settings. She is board certified in adult psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology.
In her private practice, Dr. Senter provides individualized psychopharmacology and psychotherapy to patients virtually throughout New York State. She enjoys learning about her patients comprehensively, and working together with patients to outline and implement a treatment plan that is evidence-based, and in line with each individual’s goals.
